He also served on the Faculty Senate for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Licensed in North Carolina, Scott is a member of CRCBR, multiple military networking organizations, and the Military Officer's Association of America. Scott's work has focused on Charlotte's industrial and defense-related sectors and supporting Veteran-owned companies; however, he welcomes clients from all market sectors.

Scott and his wife of 25 years live in Uptown Charlotte and have three children. When he's not assisting clients, he enjoys international travel, community volunteering, and visiting golf courses across the country to watch their son compete in collegiate golf.
