Rusty Gibbs

Rusty is a North Carolina native who moved to Charlotte in 1999 after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and working abroad in London, England. With two decades of experience in real estate and a broker’s license since 2005, Rusty specializes in land and excels at identifying a property’s highest and best use to maximize value. His expertise spans diverse asset classes, including office, retail, and industrial properties, as he provides strategic guidance to tenants, landlords, developers, investors, and small business owners.

Rusty’s background in construction management enhances his ability to advise clients through every phase of the redevelopment process, from acquisition and entitlements to leasing and sales. He has a passion for older buildings suitable for adaptive reuse and brings a comprehensive understanding of the redevelopment journey to his work.

In 2020, Rusty was honored to be selected for the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR) Leadership Committee and currently serves as the Chair of CRCBR’s Education Committee, as well as the CRCBR Board of Directors. Beyond real estate, Rusty enjoys traveling, collecting vinyl records, and cheering for the Tarheels. He lives in Charlotte’s Plaza Midwood neighborhood with his wife and their three sons.
