Michelle Wellmon joined The Nichols Company in September 2022, bringing a lifelong passion for real estate. While new to brokerage, Michelle draws on over 20 years of experience in industrial real estate through her family’s warehousing and logistics business. She has a strong background in 1031 exchange properties and has been involved in the rezoning of a historic mill in the NoDa/Optimist Park neighborhoods.
Specializing in growth areas such as W. Sugar Creek, N. Tryon, and Mint Hill, Michelle’s expertise extends to adaptive reuse, historic building projects, and infill development. Her deep understanding of Charlotte’s evolving landscape helps clients make informed decisions.
In 2023, Michelle earned Rookie of the Year at The Nichols Company and is currently pursuing her CCIM designation to further enhance her skills.
